The Cosmogenesis and Metaphysics of The Secret Doctrine -- in light of Modern Science

“To make of Science an integral whole necessitates,
indeed, the study of spiritual and psychic, as well as physical Nature. ...
Without metaphysics, real science is inadmissible.” (p. 588)

"... the rejection of these teachings may be expected, and must be anticipated beforehand. No one styling himself a ‘scholar’in whatever department of exact science, will be permitted to regard these teachings seriously. They will be derided and rejected a priori in this century; but only in this one. For in the twentieth century of our era scholars will begin to realize that The Secret Doctrine has neither been invented or exaggerated, but, on the contrary, simply outlined . . ."

Zero Point - Program Details

" ... 'material points without extension' (zero-points) are ... the materials out of which the 'Gods' and other invisible powers clothe themselves in bodies ...”

Madame H. P. Blavatsky,The Secret Doctrine, 1888

"The Chemist goes to the laya or zero-point of the plane of matter with which he deals, and then stops short. ... But the full Initiate knows that the Ring “Pass Not” is neither locality, nor can it be measured by distance, but that is exists in the absoluteness of Infinity.  In this “Infinity” ... there is neither height, breadth nor thickness, but all is fathomless profundity, reaching down from the physical to the para-metaphysical." (p. 156)

Chapters on the metaphysics of Blavatsky's Secret Doctrine: On Zero Point Foundations, and the Seven Skinned Space   Also: Superstring Theory, M-theory, and the Mysterious Seven Dimensional Calabi-YauSpaces of modern physics which sure sound like the Zero Point Laya Centers of the Secret Doctrine.

Any cosmos originates from an incredibly small point source rooted into metaphysical
THE SONS EXPAND AND CONTRACT THROUGH THEIR OWN SELVES AND HEARTS; THEY EMBRACE INFINITUDE.  . . . EACH IN TURN A PART OF THE WEB.  REFLECTING THE “SELF-EXISTENT LORD” LIKE A MIRROR, EACH BECOMES IN TURN A WORLD.  (Stanza of Dzyan,Verses III, 11-12)

Space is neither a “limitless void,” nor a “conditioned fulness,” but both: being, on the plane of absolute abstraction, the ever-incognizable Deity, which is void only to finite minds, but on that of mayavic perception, the Plenum, the absolute Container of all that is, whether manifested or unmanifested: it is, therefore, that ABSOLUTE ALL. ...  Space is called in the esoteric symbolism “the Seven-Skinned Eternal Mother-Father.”  It is composed from its undifferentiated to its differentiated surface of seven layers.  (1888, pp. 8-9)

The whole range of physical phenomena proceed from the Primary of Aether–Akasa. ... Modern science may divide its hypothetically conceived ether in as many ways as it likes; the real Aether of Space will remain as it is throughout.  It has its seven principles, as all the rest of Nature had, and where there was no Ether there would be no sound, as it is the vibrating sound-board in nature in all of its seven differentiations.  This is the first mystery the Initiates of old have learned.  (p. 536)

The primordial nothingness–the void/plenum, in its nature as the Eternal Parent Space, has a seven fold nature.  This is the ultimate Aether or root principle for all cosmic manifestations.  This is an awesome and profound teaching of the archaic wisdom traditions–which anticipates the most startling and revolutionary ideas emerging within science in this twenty first century

“... the broken symmetries of a higher dimensional space yield the four big dimensions ... Perhaps the real world with its four big dimensions corresponds to the broken but stable solutions to equations describing the symmetries of a multidimensional geometry.”  (physicist, H. Pagels, 1985, p. 8)

“Seven hidden dimensions of the universe ... have been proposed in a theory that seeks to unify the forces of nature.  ...  (the seven hidden dimensions) can be pictured as a small, compact structure such as a sphere that is associated with every point in space and every moment in time.”  (Freedman, Nieuwenhuizen, Scientific American, March, 1985

When it comes to explaining why the universe might happen to be founded on such a seven dimensional hyperspace, Davies raises some interesting questions concerning the meaning of it all:

“When numbers occur naturally in the world, it is tempting to search for meaning behind them.  Sometimes they seem to be purely accidental, as with the number of planets in our solar system.  Other naturally occurring numbers suggest a deeper significance. ... Is the dimensionality of spacetime merely an accident ...?  Or is it a pointer to a profound truth about the logical and mathematical structure of the physical world.”  (1984, p. 163)
Is there indeed some hidden seven dimensional layering within the root principles of creation–in the apparent void or hyperspace?  Perhaps such patterns of existence are pre-existent in non-existence!

The latest version of string theory is called M-theory.  The ‘M’ is related to ‘membrane,’ although Atkins suggests that it might be also in reference to ‘the mother of all theories,’ while Greene suggests that it might be related to ‘mysterious.’  Anyway, M-theory talks of two-dimensional ‘membranes’ instead of one-dimensional strings wrapped up in these hyperspaces.  M-theorists attempt to understand “the dimensionality of the holes in these spaces ... through which the stings are threaded.”  (Atkins, p.199) M-theory, according to Atkins, is trying to answer the question of why there are ‘three families of particles’ in nature.  The answer from the perspective of M-theory suggests that the number of particle families is interrelated to how spacetime is compactified, all of which has to do with higher-dimensional symmetries, and the dimensionality of the holes in these spaces.  Atkins notes, criptically, that somehow “the number three is emerging as possibly significant.”  (p. 199)
     Atkins writes:

“... currently it looks as though the different theories can be united into one super-theory if the dimensionality is allowed to rise to eleven. ... string theory is all about strings vibrating in ten dimensions of space and one of time. ... In actuality, there are seven dimensions compactified in this way at each point, with the strings somehow wrapped round them, like a rubber band wrapped around a pipe. The compactified dimensions are thought to adopt a special shape at each point ... called Calabi-Yau spaces ... Shapes like these–in seven dimensions–are the hosepipes of string theory, for the strings wind round them and through their holes. ”  (2003, pp. 197-9)
